Nationality cards determine your faction during the game. In this case, the player would be a Spanish spy. The other nationality is Portuguese.  

Role cards define your part on the crew during each task. You can either be a Crew Member or The Captain. The Captain has the power to interrogate a Crew Member with the lie detector should a task fails and make him or her walk the plank if found guilty. 

These tasks are the one the Spanish are trying to sabotage. If a certain number of task fail, then the Spanish win the match. 

This is Explornesia: The Crew Lie Detector App. The app will tell the captain if the crew member under interrogation is calm or nervous based on their heart rate variavility. 

The smartwatch is used as non-intrusive physiological sensors to interpret the player's heart rate variability into an emotional state, such as calmness or nervousness. 

Voting card are given to all crew member on each task to determine its outcome. The card has a switch mechanism that allows the player to cast their vote. A "No" vote makes that task fail.
