EXPLORNESIA INTRODUCTION
Explornesia is a trilogy of independently-playable games interlaced by a transmedia world. The games leverage an ancient imperial rivalry between Portugal and Spain in a race to conquer the Macaronesia, four archipelagos in the North Atlantic Ocean, during the 15th century.
EXPLORENESIA: THE AGE OF EXPLORENESIA (BOARD GAME)
Start the Macaronesia journey by playing this fun and immersive board game. In this game your objective is to collect the necessary resources to build your own ship and obtain the king's approval to set sail. All the resources gathered need to be stored in a warehouse until the player is ready build the ship, this opens an opportunity for rivals to break into your warehouse and steal some of your ship parts. The Age of Explornesia invokes players competitive spirit in a race to get the resources, while at the same time provides the opportunity for negotiation and sabotage.

EXPLORENESIA: THE CREW (SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAME)
In Explornesia: The Crew, an imperial Portuguese navy set sails to control the future of the Macaronesian archipelago, but their efforts are being hinder by Spanish infiltrators that are sabotaging the voyage. Depending on the player’s nationality they will need to fulfill two different objectives to win the game. Portuguese must pass, successfully, a minimum number of quests/tasks or make all Spanish spies “walk the plank”. For the Spanish faction, the objective is to make the quests/tasks fail while deceiving the Portuguese into killing their own brethren. In this game, players in the role of Captain will have access to an innovating technology that will help him or her uncover the loyalty of their crew members. A heart beat sensor from a smartwatch coupled with a smartphone application, work as a lie detection device that adds an interesting interaction to the overall game experience.

In Explornesia: The Battle, imperial Portuguese and Spanish navies engage in a multiplayer naval chaos to earn their right to settle on land. But despite all efforts, the player still needs to defend their fortifications from enemy attacks using VR binoculars to always be one step ahead.
